PARKER 3/2-WAY SOLENOID VALVE
3/2-way solenoid valve has three pipe connections and two orifice, When one is open the other will be closed, and vice versa.
3/2-way normally closed is to control spring return pneumatic actuator. Normally closed meaning when valve de-energised, the air supply port is closed and the actuator port is connected to the exhaust port. Thus actuator is in “fail safe” position.
When solenoid valve energised, air supply port is connected to the actuator port and the exhaust port is closed. Thus actuator is in open position when valve is energised.
